The time of Jesus’ Second Coming
When will Jesus come again? The Bible clearly shows the timing of Jesus’ second coming through one decisive sign.
Question from the disciples (Mt 24:3) “What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Answer from Jesus (Mt 24:32–33) “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out . . . it is near, right at the door.” The time when the twigs of the fig tree get tender and its leaves come out = The time of Jesus’ second coming When we learn the parable of the fig tree, we can know the time of Jesus’ second coming.
What is the reality of the fig tree? In the Bible, the fig tree represents Israel (Jer 24:5).
Jesus said as follows while comparing Israel to the fig tree. Mk 11:12-21 [H]e found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.”
Why did Jesus curse the fig tree? Cursing the fig tree without fruit was to prophesy about the destruction of Israel. (Lk 13:6)
Jesus also directly prophesied the destruction of Israel, without using a parable. Lk 21:20–23
History of the Destruction of Israel On the 8th day of September, A.D. 70, and in the 2nd year of the reign of Vespasian, the city of Jerusalem fell into the hands of Titus. . . . In conformity to the orders of Titus, the city was destroyed to its foundations, and even the ruins of the temple were demolished . . . According to Josephus . . . the number of prisoners taken during the whole war was 97,000, and that the number of those who perished in the siege amounted to 1,100,000. The Cyclopaedia; or, Universal Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, and Literatures, Vol. 18 Will Israel remain destroyed forever?
No! When Jesus prophesied the destruction of Israel, He also prophesied that Israel would be restored. Lk 21:24 “Jerusalem(The capital city of Israel) will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Here, the phrase, “until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled,” means that Israel will be restored when the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
As Jesus prophesied, Israel proclaimed independence on May 14, 1948.

Then, why did God bring the fig tree back to life, which had been dead for about 1,900 years? Mt 24:32–33 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out . . . it is near, right at the door.” Time of Israel’s Independence = Time of Jesus’ Second Coming It is to let us know the time of Jesus’ second coming.
Therefore, Second Coming Jesus should begin preaching the gospel in 1948, when Israel became independent. (Rev 3:20)
It is Christ Ahnsahnghong who appeared in accordance with the prophecy. Christ Ahnsahnghong was baptized in 1948, and began to preach the gospel of the New Covenant.
Therefore, Second Coming Jesus who appeared according to the prophecy of the fig tree, is Christ Ahnsahnghong.
