God Came as a Human Being
Can a human become God? A human cannot become God. Then, can God become a human? It is not a big deal for God to come as a human.
The core of Christianity is to believe in God who came as a human being. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, . . . And he will be called . . . Mighty God, Everlasting Father, . . .” (Isa 9:6). Jesus fulfilled this prophecy. Today, all Christians believe in this.
However, was it the same case when two thousand years ago when Jesus came to the earth?
At the time, people said to Jesus as follows: “ ‘[Y]ou, a mere man, claim to be God.’ ” (Jn 10:33) “ ‘Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, . . . ? How can he now say, “I came down from heaven”?’ ” (Jn 6:42). They rejected Jesus, saying that Jesus was a mere man who claimed to be God.
Why were they unable to recognize God who came as a human being? It was because of the prejudice that God cannot be a human.
However, it is not a big deal for God to come as a human. Almighty God can appear as a passerby and can be born as a child (Ge 18:1–2; Isa 9:6).
The Bible prophesies that Jesus will come to the earth a second time. In what form will He come? “Christ . . . will appear a second time . . . to bring salvation . . .” (Heb 9:28). Just as Jesus came as a human the first time, He will come in human form just like us when He comes a second time.
We hope you will receive salvation by receiving Jesus who comes a second time in human form according to the prophecy of the Bible.
